What is Life Connect?
Life Connect is the discipleship pathway of Life Church at South Mountain. It is designed to intentionally guide people from a first encounter with Christ into a growing, thriving, and fruitful life of discipleship. Life Connect provides a clear, simple, and biblical process that helps individuals move from knowing Christ, to connecting with His Church, to being formed into who God has designed them to be.
Life Connect is built around one central conviction: discipleship is not a program, but a journey. Every person has one life, walks one unique journey, and needs clear next steps to grow spiritually.

Step 1: Foundations for Life
Foundations for Life is the entry point into Life Connect. This is a four-week foundations class designed to establish a strong biblical understanding of salvation and the Christian life.
This step focuses on:
Foundations for Life helps individuals move from curiosity or new faith into confidence in their identity and relationship with Christ.
This step focuses on:
- What it means to be saved
- The gospel and the finished work of Christ
- New life in Christ
- Basic spiritual foundations for following Jesus

Step 2: Discover Life
Discover Life focuses on helping people discover their place in the Life Church family. Through our Next Steps Class, individuals learn the vision of Life Church at South Mountain, become members, and begin serving on a ministry team, using their gifts to build the body of Christ.
Step 3: Life Together
Life Together is where ongoing discipleship and community take place. Through midweek services, Bible studies, small groups, Kids & Teens ministries, Young Adults, Men’s and Women’s groups, and the Deeper Bible study, people grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and continue becoming all that God has called them to be.
